Join us for our weekly CT Saturday class in Stratford. This is DESPP approved. We teach a course more suited to those interested in more personal safety concepts vs. a more recreational safety class. Classes are smaller in size and taught in a lively discussion and Q&A format vs. video based learning with a long-test at the end. The morning session includes a range of informational and legal topics. The mid-morning sessions focus on consumer awareness - what to consider when introducing a new gun into a home or potentially carrying as an armed citizen. Which gun is right for me and the mission. We are known for our professional but down-to-earth approach and emphasizing a hands-on approach to learning. Whether you are new, nervous, or unsure if you'll fit in we quickly create an environment where students feel comfortable and confident. Simply read the reviews. We provide in-depth overview of the Connecticut permitting process. For those who request, we'll review your specific city/town and state requirements. We will then not only guide you through this but provide all local and state forms, ensure everything is completed to standard and even help with your notary and applicant photo requirements. You leave us not just with a certificate but everything administratively complete before beginning your application process. We reserve a private, indoor range for our students. Elsewhere students can expect to sit in a loud, often crowded classroom at a busy shooting range. After video based learning, a long lecture and written test, students wait until it's their turn to shoot. Often everything is done for them. Owning a firearm is an important responsibility. Whether learning to properly select, to disassemble and clean, or to comfortably handle and confidently shoot, we want to maximize each aspect of your classroom and range experience!
